Firm Position Jeff is a partner and Department Head of the Senior Living Services Consulting Group and is located in the Harrisburg, PA office. Professional Experience Jeff has over 15 years of healthcare experience. His extensive experience is concentrated in the areas of operational analysis of long term care providers, third-party reimbursement (including billing and cost reporting) and regulatory compliance. Prior to joining bmc, Jeff was a director with KPMG and was previously a director at a regional healthcare consulting firm. His background also includes setting up computer systems for long-term care facilities for financial accounting and third party billing applications, and serving as a controller for a large CCRC. Additionally, Jeff has participated as an instructor/speaker at various national and state health care association seminars and conventions. Specific experience in serving health care organizations includes: Performing operational and performance improvement analyses for healthcare providers that include SNF, AL and IL services. Preparing benchmarking studies and analyses for SNF and AL providers. Performing Medicare and Medicaid billing training to SNF providers. Assisting SNF providers with the submission of Medicare and Medicaid claims. Supervising clinical and operational diagnostic reviews for CCRCs and SNFs. Supervising Medicare and Medicaid cost reports for nursing facility chains (including the home office), freestanding nursing facilities and CMHCs. Assisting PA County nursing homes with a grant program to reduce nursing beds and replace the beds with home and community based services. Analyzing ancillary vendor contracts and managed care contracts. Assisting with the determination of computerized accounting systems for healthcare clients.
