Mr. Cole has extensive experience in the valuation of intangible assets in support of IRS audits, documentation studies, and business reorganizations. His specializations include financial statement analysis and asset pricing, including the valuation of intangible assets. He is currently focusing on serving a small number of large clients where he typically provides broad and ongoing economic support related to valuation issues surrounding transfer pricing audits, documentation efforts, and planning strategies. Mr. Cole also advises clients on the value of intangible assets consistent with arm�s length expectations during periods of significant restructure to their global operations. In this role, he has helped develop innovative strategies for valuing the rights, risks, and intangibles assets that often get transferred during these periods of transition. Examples range from estimating appropriate statutory royalties due to newly created intangible holding companies to valuing the economic risks that get allocated to newly created licensees of a company�s trademarks. |
