Jeffrey Hurwitz is senior vice president general counsel and corporate secretary at D&B a position he has held since March 2007. He is also a member of the company�s Global Leadership Team.
Mr. Hurwitz joined D&B in September 2003 as deputy general counsel and assumed responsibility as lead counsel on the company's M&A and international partnership initiatives. Since joining D&B Mr. Hurwitz took on increasing responsibility for running the day-to-day operations of the company's Legal Department. He has extensive experience in M&A corporate governance and compliance and litigation management.
Prior to joining D&B Mr. Hurwitz served as corporate senior vice president general counsel and secretary for Covance Inc. - a global drug development company which he helped take public as part of the spin-off from Corning Incorporated. Mr. Hurwitz was also of counsel at Hale and Dorr LLP.
Mr. Hurwitz holds a bachelor�s degree from the State University of New York at Albany and a doctor of jurisprudence degree from the Boston University School of Law. He is also a trustee of the National Multiple Sclerosis Society North Jersey Chapter.
