Mr. Markowitz brings more than 17 years of insurance industry experience in a variety of globally focused executive roles. With CS STARS since 1993, Mr. Markowitz has been responsible for Sales, Product Management, Human Resources, Legal, Finance, Data Operations, Technology and has also had international responsibilities that included property and casualty system design, implementation, marketing and sales. His area of expertise is in system consulting to multinational clients on their risk management information needs. Before joining the Marsh and McLennan family of companies, Mr. Markowitz was the Associate Director of Professional Development and an Adjunct Associate Professor at The College of Insurance and several other business schools in New York City. Mr. Markowitz has taught undergraduate and graduate courses in Management Information Systems. He has been involved in consulting assignments that have included workflow and work process analysis in the insurance industry. In this capacity, he has done consulting projects for such companies as IBM Corporation, Digital Equipment Corporation, Wang Laboratories and NCR Corporation. Mr. Markowitz holds a Bachelors of Arts Degree in Economics from the State University of New York at Binghamton. He also holds a Masters of Business Administration Degree from The College of Insurance in Insurance and Finance. |
