Jennifer Hoefling focuses her practice in the areas of white collar criminal defense and internal investigations. Prior to joining the firm, Ms. Hoefling served as the appellate coordinator for the United States Attorney's Office for the Western District of North Carolina. In that role, Ms. Hoefling supervised the appeals for the Criminal Division, covering both white collar and violent crimes. She also wrote direct appeals to the Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit and petitions for collateral relief before the United States District Court for the Western District of North Carolina.
Ms. Hoefling is admitted to the United States Courts of Appeal for the Fourth and Seventh Circuits. She clerked for the Honorable Kenneth F. Ripple on the United States Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit. While at Notre Dame Law School, she was the note and comment editor for the Notre Dame Law Review.
