Ms. Savel's practice concentrates on estate planning, probate and trust administration, and related tax matters. Her experience extends from the drafting of wills and probate of estates for pro bono clients to complex trust drafting and administration for multi-million dollar clients. Ms. Savel is well-versed in the preparation of federal estate tax returns and has negotiated federal estate tax audits with the Internal Revenue Service. Ms. Savel also represents clients in probate and trust contests as well as guardianship and conservatorship matters.
Prior to joining Dykema, Ms. Savel focused on estate and trust law as an attorney at another major Detroit-based law firm.
In law school, Ms. Savel was an editor of the University of Toledo Law Review.
