Ms. Carleton is Of Counsel in the Las Vegas office of Brownstein Hyatt Farber Schreck and a member of the Gaming Law Group. She counsels gaming clients on a number of corporate and regulatory matters.
Ms. Carleton advises gaming management regarding federal, state and local regulatory requirements to ensure their compliance. She also counsels on licensing, regulatory investigations, compliance, mergers and acquisitions, and other gaming related issues.
Prior to joining the firm, Ms. Carleton was a senior staff attorney at Oneida Law Office in Green Bay, Wisconsin, where her primary client was the Oneida Tribe of Indians of Wisconsin and the Oneida Casino. Her practice included conducting negotiations with the State of Wisconsin and the federal government concerning complex compact and gaming-related matters and representing management in all licensing and regulation matters. She served as casino representative in state and federal civil litigation, including claims related to breach of contract, taxation and employment.
Ms. Carleton is not currently licensed to practice in Nevada.
