As corporate human resources director, Jennifer Heath oversees the recruiting, staffing, and employee relations functions for all facilities within the Pacer Health portfolio.
Prior to becoming corporate human resources director, Heath served has the human resources director for Minnie G. Boswell Memorial Hospital, a 25-bed critical access facility with over 100 employees located in Greensboro, Georgia. During that time, Heath managed the recruitment, staffing, employee relations, benefits, compensation, and counseling functions at the facility. She also oversaw policy and procedures development, unemployment and workers� compensation. Concurrently, Heath served as the credentialing coordinator for the facility where she was responsible to the medical staff for the credentialing of all physicians and allied health professionals.
Heath began her career as an employee relations coordinator from Briggs & Stratton, a manufacturer of air cooled gasoline engines for outdoor power equipment with over 750 employees. While in this role, Heath recruited, hired and managed non-exempt employees; structured employee orientations, implemented interview skills classes; conducted performance management training; redesigned performance management processes; and administered 401K and FMLA programs.
Heath holds a bachelor�s degree in human resource management and a master�s degree in business administration from Georgia Southern University in Statesboro, Georgia. |
