Jennifer Leung practices in the area of commercial real estate transactions, including the acquisition, disposition, financing and leasing of real property. Before joining Stein and Lubin in 2007, she practiced with the firms of Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher, LLP in Los Angeles and DLA Piper US LLP in San Francisco. Ms. Leung graduated from the University of Southern California in 1995 with a B.S. in Accounting. She then spent four years with the international public accounting firm Ernst & Young, LLP, where she was a senior auditor and earned a Certified Public Accountant license. Ms. Leung earned her law degree from the University of California at Los Angeles in 2002 Order of the Coif. Represented Basin Street Properties in the sale of the Petaluma Mill office and retail complex in Petaluma, California and the defeasance of a CMBS loan encumbering the property. Represented Basin Street Properties in the purchase of the Waterfront Plaza in Reno, Nevada and the assumption of the CMBS loan encumbering the property. Represented Archstone in the purchase of a multi-family apartment complex in Yorba Linda, California and the assumption of existing bond financing and new supplemental financing. Represented Wells Real Estate Funds in the purchase of the office buildings in the University Circle complex in Palo Alto, California. Represented Tishman Speyer in the purchase of the Market Place in Seattle, Washington. Represented Equity Office Properties in the purchase of 19 office properties from Basin Street Properties and the assumption of the CMBS loans encumbering some of the properties. Represented Citibank in a construction to permanent financing (including two tranches of permanent financing) on a multifamily affordable housing project in Monterey, California. Represented Prudential in a permanent financing on 3 Marriott hotels in Ohio, Kentucky and Florida. Represented Wrightwood Capital in a construction financing for 150 Powell Street, San Francisco, California (H&M retail store in Union Square). Represented Gregory Greenfield and Jones Lang LaSalle in the leasing of retail space in shopping centers and malls across the United States. |
