Jennifer S. Marshall was born and reared in Wisconsin where she earned a Degree in Business Administration in 1993. Prior to graduation, she applied and was hired for an entry-level position with a Wisconsin-based cosmetic manufacturing company, Elysee Scientific Cosmetics. Over the next two years, Jennifer excelled in the administrative aspects required to efficiently and economically function in such a growing industry.
In 1995, Jennifer began working directly with Elysee's Research and Development Department learning strategic insights into the latest ingredient applications and the basis of product formularies. From that point on, Jennifer elected to work closely with R&D on Product Performance Evaluations and on the technical aspects of Market Research Testing and Creative Advertising claims.
Jennifer has been Vice President of Administration and Operations for Elysee Scientific Cosmetics, Inc., Verona, Wisconsin, since 1999 and served as Office Management for six years prior to that. She continues to oversee the daily operations of Elysee's Customer Service Department and handles Electronic Marketing Accounts.
With almost 13 years in the cosmetic industry, Jennifer's efficiency in these areas has added to the success of both in-house projects as well as contract manufacturing accounts frequently dependent upon the exchange of proprietary information between clients and staff.
In 2002, the Marshall family founded The James E. Marshall OCD Foundation , of which Jennifer is President. This non-profit organization is dedicated to raising money for genetic research and educating society on the disorder and misunderstandings of Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder, as well as helping to provide grants to those seeking medical assistance. In 2002, James Marshall, Jennifer's husband, passed away unexpectedly from this little-known disease. Robert Wagner, Jill St. John, and Dionne Warwick also serve on the foundation, as well as several heads of industry from Avon, Proctor & Gamble, and other companies
In 2005, the James E. Marshall Foundation held its first annual 'beyondBeauty' gala, a cause dedicated to bringing this little-known disease to the forefront with the support of the cosmetic industry.
In early 2005, Jennifer teamed with brother-in-law, John Marshall, V.P. R&D, on the development of two new lines, Suddenly Sassy and Sinfully Shameless, geared toward the 20-49 age group. This line was designed as a scientific skincare line with an attitude and twist. Also, look for the upcoming launch of an under 20 feel-good product line as well, in early 2006.
Among Jennifer's proudest accomplishments are her two children, Jadyn (12) and Ryan (9). |
