Jennifer received her PhD in 2007, working in Victor Lins research group. Her research focused on the development and characterization of heterogeneous catalysts for various alternative energy applications, and the design of functionalized mesoporous materials for biotechnological and biomedical applications. During her graduate studies, she served as President of Iota Sigma Pi Honorary Society for Women in Chemistry, and was granted an Excellence in Teaching award in 2003 from Iowa State University. She joined Victor Lins research group in 2001, and was among the first to discover the potential of our patented technologies for biodiesel production. Her research centered on the development and optimization of new catalysts for biorenewable applications. She now works at Catilin as a Project Manager where she is responsible for the overall production of catalyst and biodiesel. |
