Jeremy C. Wensinger is group president of Government Communications Systems. Mr. Wensinger leads the company's civil agency programs, intelligence agency programs, and information technology services programs, and manages the shared engineering, operations, and business development and strategic marketing resources pool for the government businesses. Mr. Wensinger reports to the executive vice president and chief operating officer.
Mr. Wensinger was most recently group president of Integrated Systems and Services. Prior to that, he was vice president and general manager of Harris Broadcast Communications Division, where he led the transformation of the division, through strategic acquisition, from a transmission product supplier to a total content delivery solutions provider and a leader in the broadcast industry.
Previously, Mr. Wensinger was vice president and general manager of Harris Technical Services Corporation, creating one of the fastest growing businesses within Harris. Harris Technical Services Corporation delivers both mission support services and outsourcing services to a broad range of U.S. Government customers.
Mr. Wensinger joined Harris in 1989 and during the following 10 years held assignments of increasing responsibility within GCSD. He was operations manager for the Avionics business area of the former Government Aerospace Systems Division and manager of strategic planning for the former Electronic Systems Sector. Mr. Wensinger also served as controller for the former Information Systems Division and as director of programs responsible for mergers, acquisitions, and joint ventures.
Before joining Harris Corporation, Mr. Wensinger was a commercial analyst at Society National Bank in Columbus, Ohio.
Mr. Wensinger holds a B.S. degree in business administration from Bowling Green State University, and an M.B.A. from the University of South Florida. He is also a graduate of the Harvard University General Manager Program. |
