Mr. Cook has served as a director of Targeted Genetics since July 1995 and as chairman of the board since February 1998. Mr. Cook founded the International Biochemicals Group in 1975, which was sold to Royal Dutch Shell in 1985, serving as managing director until 1987. From 1987 to 2000, he was a director of Rothschild Asset Management Limited and was responsible for the Rothschild Bioscience Unit. He currently serves as chairman of the board of International Bioscience Managers Ltd. and as a director of SIRNA Therapeutics Inc., Inflazyme Pharmaceuticals, Ltd. and several public and privately held companies outside the United States. Mr. Cook previously served as a director of Cell Therapeutics, Inc. and Creative BioMolecules, Inc. Mr. Cook received his M.A. in Natural Sciences from Trinity College, Dublin. |
