Dr. Revell joined California Clinical Trials in 2005 as Research Physician/Psychiatry for the Glendale, Culver City and Paramount facilities. Since 2003 he has also continued to serve as Psychiatrist at Aviva Family & Children�s Services in Los Angeles, California. He began his doctoral career as Psychiatrist in Los Angeles at Inglewood Mental Health, involved with community mental health for the adult, adolescent and child populations. He then became a contract Physician at National Medical Registry for the California State Prison System. His research experience began as a Neurohistology Research Assistant at the Johnson Research Center/Mayo Clinic Scottsdale in Scottsdale, Arizona. Early in his healthcare career, Dr. Revell demonstrated a strong commitment to psychiatric issues when he served as Youth Mentor Program Director for Chicanos Por La Causa in Phoenix, Arizona. As Program Director, he implemented an award-winning crisis program for high-risk children. Dr. Revell received his doctoral degree from the University of Arizona College of Medicine in Tucson, Arizona. His training includes a Fellowship in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry at Cedar Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles, California. He also completed his residency and internship in Psychiatry at Cedar Sinai Medical Center. Additionally, he holds a B.A. in Business and Public Administration from the University of Arizona in Tucson, Arizona. Dr. Revell is professionally affiliated with the American Psychiatric Association. His paper on Risperidone in acute mania adolescents is pending publication. |
