Mr. Davies was formerly a Senior Partner in the Assurance and Business Advisory Services Office of PricewaterhouseCoopers. He has more than 30 years of experience serving American, Japanese, and European companies across a wide range of industries. In addition to Los Angeles, where he worked in the firm's Entrepreneurial Services Group and led their middle market consulting practice in the early and mid-1980's, Mr. Davies has also worked in Birmingham, London, Paris, Sao Paulo and Washington, DC. From 1986 to 1990, Mr. Davies held various responsibilities in the World Chairman's London office of Price Waterhouse, including developing and beta testing the multinational client satisfaction evaluation process. Mr. Davies was Chairman of the U.S. firm's Japan Business Network (JBN Steering Committee) and led the automotive sector practice in the West Region of the United States.
Mr. Davies is currently Chairman of the British American Business Council and former President and Chairman of the Los Angeles Chapter. The BABC is the largest transatlantic business organization with more than 4,000 member companies and 12,000 executives. He is a member of the Board of Directors of the Los Angeles Economic Development Corporation; former member of the Executive Advisory Board of the European Union Center of California; member of the California Society of Certified Public Accountants and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants; a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales; and is qualified as a Brazilian Certified Public Accountant. Mr. Davies has a BSc degree from the University of Sao Paulo, Brazil. |
