Jerry has created growth and shareholder value in the rental manufacturing distribution construction equipment and steel sectors.
Professional Experience
As Interim CEO of a capital equipment rental company which recently emerged from bankruptcy developed a business plan resulting in 50% EBITDA increase by building market competitive pricing matrices to increase utilization and gross margin and through cost reductions.
As COO/CRO led turnaround of a family owned construction equipment dealer suffering operating losses and declining asset values. Designed developed and successfully executed a plan to return the company to profitability and restructure $50 M in debt.
As President/COO of 70 year old $100 M revenue privately held distributor of reinforcing steel and construction products drove continuous operational success over plan from the sales and operating sides of the business. This success provided the foundation for a sale transaction when a strategic NYSE listed buyer approached the company.
As general manager of a newly acquired business unit of Terex Corporation a NYSE listed capital equipment manufacturer profitably grew revenue 250% led new product development reducing time to market and established a Japanese JV that generated 30% of unit's revenue year one.
Led a Southwest based $150 M seller and rental distributor of heavy equipment through reorganization and liquidation resulting in above target recovery for the senior secured bank group.
