Jerry retired from his post as executive director of the regional transportation commission after 30 years in public service. He currently is a civil engineering and management consultant. He has served on a number of community-based committees and boards and is the recipient of the President's Medal from the University of Nevada, Reno, for his contributions to the community and higher education. Jerry has been a Rotarian since 1977. He has served RI as district governor, task force coordinator, and zone institute chair. He also has served as a Council on Legislation representative (twice) and multidistrict PETS instruction chair. He has received the RI Service Above Self Award and The Rotary Foundation's Citation for Meritorious Service. Jerry and Tasha have hosted numerous exchange students and participated in a National Immunization Day. |
