Jerry Cannon has more than 20 years experience in bankruptcy law litigating complex financial disputes in state and federal courts. He has represented a variety of creditors and debtors in bankruptcy cases throughout the world, including litigating bankruptcy issues in the District Court of Guam and in Saipan for the world�s largest tuna fleet.
One of the significant cases handled by Jerry included successfully representing the interests of 15 of the largest insurance carriers in the country who were being bilked for several hundreds of millions of dollars by a band of Los Angeles lawyers called "The Alliance." Through proceedings in five separate actions in state and federal court, Jerry was able to stop The Alliance with the creative use of a defendant class action certification and litigation. Jerry also successfully handled one of the largest Mello-Roos bond default cases in California history.
