Jerry M. "Mike" Drennan is vice president of Space Operations, Requirements and Technology based in Colorado Springs, Colorado. He is responsible for all Aerospace activities supporting U.S. Air Force Space Command Headquarters, the Space Warfare Center, the Air Force Research Laboratory at Kirtland Air Force Base, New Mexico, and United States Strategic Command at Offutt Air Force Base, Nebraska.
Drennan joined The Aerospace Corporation from Raytheon Company, Aurora, Colorado, where he was director for Business Development. He retired from the Air Force in 2000 with the rank of brigadier general after 28 years of service. His final Air Force assignment was commander of the 21st Space Wing at Peterson Air Force Base, Colorado.
Other key positions he held include commandant of the Air Command and Staff College, Maxwell AFB, Alabama; director of Logistics, Air Force Space Command, Peterson AFB; assistant director for Nuclear Operations at the Defense Nuclear Agency, Washington, D.C.; and commander of the 321st Missile Wing at Grand Forks AFB, North Dakota.
Drennan earned a bachelor's of science degree in engineering management from the U.S. Air Force Academy and an MBA from the University of Missouri, Columbia. He also completed the Program for Executives at Carnegie Mellon University in Pennsylvania. |
