Jerry W. Johnson joined the Company in 1991 and has served in various capacities which included development of the Company's first Recycling Division and managing Field Support Services until his departure in 1995. Mr. Johnson then joined Atlantic Waste Disposal and served in various roles from transportation to General Management of Atlantic Waste of Virginia and New York until 1999. He then rejoined Waste Industries as the North Carolina Landfill Division Manager. Mr. Johnson currently serves as Vice President of the Company's Landfill Division and oversees all landfill operations for the Company. Mr. Johnson attended Wake Community College and has over 28 years in the solid waste industry. |
