With more than 30 years of experience in customer service and operations roles, Jerry Amante is an expert in translating the makeup, purpose and appeal of complex technologies to customers and business partners. At Camiant, he focuses on implementation of the company's software platforms to emerging multimedia networks and businesses.
Jerry Amante, vice president of customer service, brings to Camiant a deep experience in managing customer-facing operations in support of technology products and services.
Prior to joining Camiant, Mr. Amante was vice president of technical services for Ellacoya Networks, a provider of control systems for broadband service providers. There, he directed all customer support functions plus systems engineering, sales support and channel support organizations.
He joined Ellacoya Networks from ADC (and its acquired predecessor Broadband Access Systems), where he led technical support relationships with major accounts and managed successful lab evaluations, trial deployments, and production deployments for major broadband service providers.
Mr. Amante also has held positions in technical customer support, materials and operations management and product management at Sybase, Intellidex Systems and Digital Equipment Corp.
Mr. Amante was graduated cum laude from Merrimack College and attended the Wharton Executive Education Program. |
