Mr. Dowd is the compliance manager for all OSHA, DOT and EPA requirements including record keeping. He conducts safety training and jobsite safety inspections and is reponsible for Workers Compensation accident and injury reporting and claims. As training manager, he oversees the U.S. Department of Labor accredited Lineman and Substation Electrician Apprenticeship Programs. This includes testing, evaluation and maintaining current training records. Mr. Dowd is an active participant in training programs in the Safety and Risk Management field. This helps him stay current with all of the latest government regulations and proactively protect our crews in the field. He works closely with the Safety Division of the MYR Group, Inc. (our parent company) in updating safety policies and the company safety program. |
