Jerry Fushianes, PA-C is LHI�s Post Deployment Health Reassessment (PDHRA) Program Director. Mr. Fushianes served for more than seven years with the United States Army.
Mr. Fushianes is responsible for the PDHRA Program which is a component of the Reserve Health Readiness Program (RHRP). Mr. Fushianes oversees the PDHRA Call Center, Event Operations Center, Documents Team, Retention Program, and Credentialing Team.
Mr. Fushianes is actively involved in the American Academy of Physician Assistants, the Michigan and Wisconsin Academies of Physician Assistants, and the American College of Healthcare Executives. In 2007, the American Academy of Physician Assistants recognized Mr. Fushianes as a Distinguished Fellow. Mr. Fushianes earned the recognition due to his outstanding contributions to patient care and the profession during his years as a Physician Assistant. In 1998, he received the Paragon Award from the American Academy of Physician Assistants.
He holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Health Services Administration from the University of Detroit Mercy and a Master of Science degree as a Physician Assistant from the University of Detroit Mercy. |
