Jerry Landeck currently oversees the development activities of The Ritz-Carlton, Kapalua and the $450 million Lodge at Rancho Mirage development. Jerry has over 30 years experience in the resort and commercial real estate and construction industries, including executive positions in investment, finance, development, sales and marketing.Jerry Landeck is also currently a partner with Gencom Group, Logwood Development Company and Logwood Hotel Development Company, creators and developers of Molasses Reef, a Ritz-Carlton Reserve and branded condominiums on the 6,000 acre protected island of West Caicos in the Turks and Caicos Islands, BWI. Jerry is also Partner in charge of design and development of the Grace Bay Club and Villas in Providenciales, Turks and Caicos Islands, BWI. In 2000, Esperanza - an Auberge Resort engaged Jerry to design and oversee construction of the $90 million luxury hotel and spa and 36 condominiums in Cabo San Lucas, Baja California, Mexico. As Director of Development, he managed and coordinated all architectural design, interior and landscape design and construction for this award-winning property. Hideaway of the Year and to numerous Top Resort lists. Prior to teaming with Esperanza, Jerry managed the planning, design, and development of various residential, resort, commercial, golf and mixed-use properties over a nine-year period in Vail Colorado. He served as Director of Development for Cordillera, a developer of golf oriented communities and as Executive VP for Shapiro Development Co., specializing in resort lodges and condominiums. He has managed a full service real estate brokerage firm, in-house construction division, in-house architectural department and asset managed a portfolio of equity and debt investments for institutional investors. Jerry Landeck graduated with and A.B. degree from Princeton University and received an MBA from the University of Denver. He resides in the Vail Valley with his wife and two sons. |
