Jerry joined KDL in 2004 as Director of Domestic & International Logistics. Mr. McConnell is the fourth generation in his family to serve within the transportation industry. Jerry has held various Director and Executive Management roles with such firms as Yellow Transportation as an Operations Manager, Senior Account Executive and Terminal Manager. Jerry also worked for Pitt Ohio Express as an Operations Specialist and Terminal Manager. Jerry performed on the shipper side with organizations such as Black Box Network Services as a Transportation Manager and as a Director for an Over the Road Specialized Operation with Pittsburgh Logistic Systems. Jerry brings over 17 years of transportation experience in multiple modes in operations and sales excellence.
Jerry is a graduate of Clarion University with a Bachelors of Science Degree in Accounting. Jerry also has pursued his Master's degree from the University of Phoenix in Business Technology.
Jerry is a member of National Shippers Strategic Transportation Council (NASSTRAC), National Industrial Traffic League (NITL), Secretary of the Transportation & Traffic Association (T&TA) -Pittsburgh Chapter and Vice President of the Council of Supply Chain Management Professional (CSLMP) - Pittsburgh Chapter. |
