Jerry Williams. Mr. Williams graduated from DePauw University in 1954 with a Bachelor's Degree. He graduated from the University of Pennsylvania's Wharton School of Finance and Commerce with an MBA in 1956. He entered the investment industry in 1957. He founded Williams Securities Group in Tampa in 1968. WSG was acquired by RW Baird, member of the NYSE, 80% owned by Northwestern Mutual Insurance Company, in 1991. Mr. Williams retired in 1999. Since retiring he has been an entrepreneurial investor and charity volunteer. Governor, National Association of Securities Dealers (NASD), Board of Directors, NASDAQ, advisory board member of Hyde Park Capital Partners; Chaired United Way of Hillsborough County (Tampa) and Community Foundation of Tampa Bay. He is a Trustee for the University of South Florida Foundation. |
