Jesse Lad is a member of the labor and employment group. He works on the defense of cases involving labor and employment issues, including claims of harassment, discrimination, invasion of privacy, wage and hour matters and wrongful discharge. In addition, Jesse advises public sector clients on a wide variety of labor and employment matters arising under federal and state law, including sexual harassment, discrimination, medical leave rights, labor relations, collective bargaining, discipline and employee privacy issues.Prior to joining Meyers Nave, Jesse worked for a Sacramento firm where his practice primarily focused on defending harassment and discrimination claims for private and public employers. Jesse has counseled employers regarding personnel issues and drafted employment policies and personnel handbooks. He has worked closely with various employment and business laws, including FEHA, Title VII, ADA, FMLA, CFRA and Business & Professions Code section 17200.He received his J.D. from Marquette University with a concentration in labor and employment law. While in law school, Jesse was an extern for the National Labor Relations Board and Wisconsin Court of Appeals. He received his B.A. in Political Science, along with a Spanish minor, from the University of Iowa. |
