Jessica Milano joined COMPASS in 2006 as a Managing Analyst. Before joining COMPASS, she worked for Promontory Interfinancial Network, a financial services firm with a client network of over 1,000 commercial banks and thrifts nationwide. During her time at Promontory Ms. Milano worked on the launch of the Certificate of Deposit Account Registry Service (CDARS), a CD brokerage service with the added benefit of up to $20 million dollars in FDIC protection. She also participated in a joint initiative with the Community Development Bankers Association (CDBA) to help community development banks use the CDARS service to attract deposits for local lending and investment in under-served communities.
Previously, Ms. Milano worked as a researcher on various projects including a survey of computer crime and fraud in US businesses, a theoretical review of the global response to computer and technology crimes, and a UN programme on the economic consequences of political corruption on emerging economies. Ms. Milano holds an MA in Applied Economics from The Johns Hopkins University and received her BSc in Government from the London School of Economics |
