Jill Y. Hopper joined Cray in January 2008 as Vice President of Government Programs and is responsible for managing the strategic relationship between Cray and the U.S. Federal Government. With more than 24 years of government affairs experience at the federal level, Jill most recently served as the Vice President of Government Relations at SRA International. Prior to that, Hopper served as Director of Government Relations at Battelle, and as the Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense for Legislative Affairs (1999-2001) for Secretary William S. Cohen. She also worked for the U.S. House of Representatives from 1982-1992 where she staffed several appropriations subcommittees, including the subcommittee on defense, during tenures with Congressman Bernard J. Dwyer and Joseph D. Early. Jill has an MBA from the George Washington University where she received the Bryce Harlow Scholarship two years consecutively. She has BA in economics and psychology from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst. |
