James (Jim) Hopkins has worked in software development for his entire career since graduating from The Pennsylvania State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in computer science (1986). Jim holds extensive experience in building and tuning large-scale web applications. He applies his project management skills and his rich background in J2EE software development while leading the company�s software developers in the utilization of J2EE.
Hopkins is responsible for overseeing the system architecture and design efforts; establishing OIT�s product documentation standards; ensuring all software products meet the OIT Testing/Quality Assurance requirements; and maintaining assignment of programming projects between team members.
Hopkins is also awaiting the approval of three patents, submitted in March 2003, which include: System and method for running web applications locally; Management of sets of resources used in different simulations; and Template tag resolution aide. |
