Dr. Jim Hundrieser consults for Noel-Levitz while serving as vice president for student development at Lynn University (FL). He offers more than 17 years in higher education, specializing in student involvement and retention.
Prior to his current position at Lynn University, Dr. Hundrieser served as vice president for student affairs and enrollment management at Marymount Manhattan College (NY). There, he led a comprehensive student life and enrollment management program. He created strategic plans for student affairs and college enrollment management; assisted in integrating the Registrar, Financial Aid, and Bursar offices with a first-year experience program; developed and implemented a divisional assessments plan; and improved a variety of services, programs, and activities. Dr. Hundrieser also served previously at Lynn University as dean for assessment, planning, and student services. In that position he created the Campus Climate Team for students having academic or adjustment difficulties, leading to a 70 percent increase in retention rates for those students.Dr. Hundrieser was also associate vice president for retention services at Noel-Levitz, working with 33 campuses to create comprehensive retention strategies, and conducting campus workshops on improving the quality of student life and learning.
