Jim Johnson, Vice President of Worldwide Sales, came to Geomagic with more than 25 years of experience in sales leadership. He was most recently vice president of regional sales for Vivant Corp., a supplier of automated e-procurement solutions. For seven years, he was senior director of the central region for Autodesk, the world's leading CAD/CAM software company. At Autodesk, he worked with a staff of 40 and an extensive reseller channel to generate revenue growth of 300 percent in that region. Before Autodesk, he held sales management positions in engineering technology companies such as SDRC, Context Corp., Adage and Tektronix. He has consistently been a leading producer since he entered sales management in 1977. In his position with Geomagic, he will set sales plans and goals, manage the worldwide sales team, recruit and develop channel sales, and develop business relationships with major accounts and other technology companies in the forefront of mass customization. Mr. Johnson graduated from Michigan State University with a BS in Mathematics and did post-graduate studies at George Washington University and University of Southern California extensions. |
