Mr. Jim Kahl has over 26 years of experience in the machine vision field. As a 26-year member of an R&D team for a Fortune 500 company, Jim has designed hardware, software, and optical systems, which he then deployed to the factory floor. He has worked with a wide range of customers, to provide application solutions in the packaging, pharmaceutical, automotive, and beverage industries. Jim has overseen or participated in well over 100 installations, and is well versed in the Cognex In-Sight family of components. Over the years he has developed many novel lighting and optical concepts, in order to provide more robust and economical installations. With an overlapping background of 15 years in Automation and Controls, Jim can offer a well thought out, well-integrated vision solution. |
