Jim Leachman serves as vice president and general manager of the Commercial Power and Services Division of Curtiss-Wright Flow Control. In this capacity he is responsible for building and advancing the organization�s overall mission related to strategic development of the nuclear power market. In addition, Mr. Leachman directly oversees the management of three business units; Nova, Trentec and Enertech, for which he has also served as president since 1997.Mr. Leachman joined Curtiss-Wright in 1992 as vice president of sales and marketing for Enertech. He refined and articulated the organization�s vision and established strong positioning within the industry before being promoted to executive vice president and later president. Before joining Enertech, Mr. Leachman spent 15 years in the petro-chemical and power industries, holding various positions at ITT Grinnell Corporation and Republic/EMJ, where he was involved in the $1 billion merger of Kilsby-Roberts and Earle M. Jorgensen Company.Mr. Leachman attended California State University, Fullerton where he received degrees in Business Administration and Marketing. He also received management certification from the Pacific Institute and certification from Rapport Leadership International- School of Leadership Development.Mr. Leachman is a member of the Valve Manufacturers Association, American Society of Mechanical Engineers, and the American Nuclear Society. |
