Jim Murphy is Vice President of Sales for the EMEA and Asia Pacific regions. He is responsible for managing Active Power�s customer relationships and sales growth in Europe the Middle East Africa Japan Korea and southeast Asia.
A 20-year power industry veteran Jim previously held technical sales leadership roles for several international divisions of RWE Piller GmbH part of the RWE Group of companies and Europe�s largest multi-utility. His responsibilities included marketing and sales P&L high-value solution selling to a global client base and facilitating post-sale customer support. Jim implemented a team selling approach that enabled improved focus on customer specifications and was instrumental in kick-starting sales of new products in Europe.
Jim holds a degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from Liverpool University and is a member of the Institute of Electrical Incorporated Engineers. |
