Jim O'Brien joined Deltacom in February 2005 as Executive Vice President Operations. Since 2001 he served as senior vice president for Engineering and Operations at ICG Communications Inc. where he was responsible for Engineering Field Operations Network Operations Center Security Real Estate and Facilities. O�Brien started with ICG in December of 1999 as vice president for the Network Operations Center. Prior to ICG he held a variety of positions at TCG/AT&T including director for the Network Management Center in Staten Island NY. Before joining TCG/AT&T O�Brien spent eight years at The Associated Press and held various positions where his responsibilities included maintaining a worldwide data network that linked press organizations around the world with breaking news stories stock market information and photographs.
