Promoted to partner in 2006, Jim has been a personal trainer for last 15 years. Jim was formerly the Bureau Chief, Bureau of Identification, Illinois State Police retiring in 2001 with 26 years of service.Jim states, "Over the years, I have trained a variety of clients engaged in a broad range of activities. These activities include aerobic instructors, models, professional dancers, professional cheer leaders, flight attendants, industry executives, college professors, and lay people. Most of my experience has been in the weight control area. I have also judged natural body building competitions, sanctioned by the National Gym Association."Jim has earned certifications from the National Academy of Sports Medicine, the American Council on Exercise, and the American Aerobic Association International on various fitness aspects. He has also earned a Masters Degree in Social Justice Administration from University of Illinois at Springfield, and a Bachelor of Science Degree in Criminal Justice Administration and a minor in Computer Science from Southern Illinois University at Carbondale, and has attended a Culinary Arts Program at Joliet Junior College. |
