Jimmy Stewart works in the Community Partnerships Department on Minority Business Development. In this role, Mr. Stewart is responsible for building relationships with MBE and WBE subcontractors, including outreach, training and compliance issues as well as the development of a tracking system for M/WBE participation in SBER projects. Mr. Stewart has played an important role in several Baltimore projects, as well as in the development of M/WBE programs in SBER's regional offices. Before coming to SBER, Mr. Stewart worked at the Small Business Resource Center. He was the Program Manager and Consultant for the Baltimore Local Contractor Development Program from 2004 to 2006. There he worked towards increasing job opportunities for minority contractors in part by expanding outreach and marketing to engage additional program partners. Before taking on that role, he worked as a Small Business Development Consultant in the Baltimore Digital Village program. |
