Jitender Vij brings over 25 years of experience in telecommunications to TranSwitch ranging from hardware design to public network planning. Prior to joining TranSwitch in 1990, Mr. Vij served as technical director for Southern New England Telecommunications, where he was responsible for network evolution, intelligent network, services planning, network design consultation and new technologies assessment. Previously, Mr. Vij was manager of Communications Systems at Alcatel (formerly ITT) Advanced Technology Center, and executive technical officer at Teleglobe Canada. He has a BE in electronics from the Thaper Institute of Engineering and Technology and holds several patents related to the telecommunications and networking industry. |
