Jo Murciano founded the parent company of Sunbelt Software, Sunbelt International Group, in 1983 in Paris, France and has served as the company's chairman since its inception. The Sunbelt International Group is the majority shareholder of Sunbelt Software in the US. Jo brings more than 20 years experience in the software development and distribution market and has successfully implemented a profitable financial model that has allowed for Sunbelt's fully self-funded global expansion. Within the Sunbelt International Group of companies, he has successfully implemented a profitable financial model that has allowed for fully self-funded global expansion in software development and distribution. Prior to founding Sunbelt, Jo founded French-based RMH Group, a leading provider of development and communication tools for the IBM AS/400 market. He was chief executive officer for RMH Group from 1982 through 2000, at which time he sold the company. He also founded Amos Group, a successful remittance processing firm in France.
