Jo�o Adalberto Elek J�nior has been a member of our board of directors since April 29, 2005. He has been the Chief Executive Officer for Telmex do Brasil since March 2004. He joined AT&T Latin Am�rica do Brasil as Financial Vice President. In the second half of 2001 and in 2002 he was the Chief Executive Officer for AT&T Latin Am�rica do Brasil. Prior to that, he was the Consumer Business� CFO at Citibank. He graduated in Electronic Engineering from Pontif�cia Universidade Cat�lica do Rio de Janeiro, and received a MBA in Marketing Planning from COPPE-AD/UFRJ and is a graduate of Columbia Business School Mergers and Acquisitions post-graduate program. |
