Jody Ward centers her practice on litigating employment discrimination and employment contract disputes. Her focus on discrimination cases includes claims under the ADA, ADEA, FMLA, and Title VII. She also works with clients to develop effective drug testing policies. Prior to joining Ford & Harrison, Jody was a member of Rider Bennett's Litigation Department. Earlier in her career, she was a student instructor of legal writing at the University of Minnesota Law School, a law clerk with the ACLU of Minnesota and a research assistant at the University of Minnesota Law Library.
She is admitted to practice in Minnesota and the Federal District Court for the District of Minnesota. Jody is a member of the Minnesota State Bar Association, Hennepin County Bar Association, and Minnesota Women Lawyers.
During law school, Jody was actively involved with the Asylum Law Project and the Civil Rights Moot Court and was honored with the ABA Award for Leadership and Scholarship.
