Jody G. Miller has served as a Capella Education Company director since 2003. She is CEO and president of the Business Talent Group, a company she founded in 2006, which matches independent business executives with interim and project-based assignments. Miller is also a venture partner with Maveron LLC, a Seattle-based venture capital firm, a position she has held since 2000. From 1995 to 1999, she held various positions at Americast, including acting president and chief operating officer, executive vice president, senior vice president for operations, and consultant. From 1993 to 1995, Miller served in the White House as special assistant to the President during the Clinton administration. She is a member of the board of directors of the nonprofit program, National Campaign to Prevent Teenage Pregnancy, and since May 2005 has been serving as a member of the board of directors of TRW Automotive Holdings Corp., an NYSE-listed global supplier of automotive components. From 2000 to 2004, Miller also served as a member of the board of directors of Exide Technologies, an NYSE-listed battery manufacturing company. Miller earned a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Michigan and a Juris Doctor from the University of Virginia. |
