Jody Jones joined the Magellan Commercial Realty team in 2007 as Vice President of Investment Sales, bringing a wealth of knowledge in the sales process that includes prospecting, account management and negotiation skills.Born and raised in the piney woods of East Texas, Jody has been involved in commercial real estate since 2001. His primary focus has been income-producing properties that include shopping centers, office buildings, and flexible-use facilities.After being discharged from the US Army in 1971, Jody joined the Dallas Regional office of Olivetti Corporation. He spent the next 29 years in the computer industry. The sales training and account management skills that he mastered during his career in Information Technology have been a key factor in his success in commercial real estate. His total sales career has been focused on the Dallas, Austin and San Antonio market areas.Jody and his wife, Cheryl, were married in her hometown of Sydney, Australia in December 2004. They reside in Colleyville and both are avid golfers. Jody has one son, a graduate of The University of Texas School of Engineering, who is pursuing a career in network security. |
