Jody Tester has over 27 years experience in software development, product management, and marketing/business development. He has been a strategic business builder with start-up companies and large corporations, and has spent the last dozen years focused on Web-based solutions within media and Internet service industries. Prior to joining LiveCargo, Jody headed strategic ventures for Arbitron Inc., where he spearheaded business partnerships and acquisitions, while also managing a product development team for the advertising agency software segment. He also co-founded KOZ.com in 1996 after serving as a vice president for MCI Digital Imaging, a software division of MCI Telecommunications. While working with MCI Digital Imaging, Jody opened vertical markets for electronic publishing services in newspapers, hardgoods and office supplies, and co-founded the Advanced MediaGraphics Center. Jody began his career as a business analyst with Nortel Networks and managed several software departments before stepping into his first entrepreneurial venture in 1988. Jody holds undergraduate and graduate business degrees from Appalachian State University. |
