Mr. Joe Bunning serves as a Director/Executive Recruiter with The Repovich-Reynolds Group, a leading retained international executive search and management consulting firm specializing in the investor relations, corporate communications, and corporate brand marketing functions. The firm is headquartered in Pasadena, California.
Mr. Bunning joined The Repovich-Reynolds Group in 2006. In his role as Director/Executive Recruiter , he reports to Ms. Smooch S. Reynolds, CEO, and is responsible for managing mid- and senior-level executive search assignments across all industries. Mr. Bunning has more than eight years of experience serving as an investor relations and media relations consultant to companies that range in size from pre-IPO to large-cap entities, in all industry sectors. In addition, he has broad internal and crises communications experience that he has gleaned from his tenure advising corporations on new strategies designed to advance those organizations.
Prior to launching his career in executive search, Mr. Bunning served as a senior associate at Sitrick And Company, a nationally recognized communications firm specializing in investor and media relations, crises communications and corporate restructurings. As one of the firm�s only professionals specializing in investor relations, he was responsible for all financial communications and investor relations functions for the firm�s clients, which ranged from micro cap start-ups to multi billion dollar corporations. Having been involved directly with many of the firm�s largest Chapter 11 filings including Refco, Delphi, and Mirant, Mr. Bunning spent considerable time on-site at the filing companies serving in the role of a crises investor relations advisor. His responsibilities included training internal communications personnel, drafting letters to and fielding phone calls from Wall Street, and communicating all events to the various securities exchanges.
Previously, Mr. Bunning was an account coordinator at Merrill Lynch where he focused on client communications and the development of new business seminars.
