Joe is a member of QD Vision's Board of Directors. He has over 25 years of industry experience. Joe is a business leader with extensive experience in new business development within the electronic materials, components and related high tech areas. He has broad experience in international business leadership and partnership negotiations. His multifunctional experience includes general management, marketing, R&D, product support and venture capital. Prior to joining QD Vision, Joe served as President and CEO of OSRAM Opto Semiconductors where he was responsible for North American business operations pertaining to all OSRAM Opto products. As VP (of parent company, OSRAM Opto Semiconductors, GmbH) and general manager for the emerging Organic Light Emitting Diode (OLED) Display business unit, he was responsible on a global basis for all elements of the OLED business. He concurrently served on the management committee for OSRAM Opto Semiconductors, GmbH. Joe�s key customers at OSRAM included Nokia, Motorola, Philips, automotive tier one suppliers (Visteon, Delphi, SVDO, Alps), Raytheon, Avnet, Pioneer, Siemens ICM, and Three-Five Systems. Prior to his tenure at OSRAM, Joe spent more than 20 years at Dow Chemical Company in positions of increasing management responsibility. Joe holds one patent and has several pending. |
