Trained as an Information Technology Management consultant and statistician, Stough has led Syntex to fulfill a niche in the database software application market by providing solutions that successfully apply mathematical concepts and software technology to dramatically impact Enterprise Risk Management on a global basis. Recently recognized for his leadership and vision, Stough received the 2003 Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year Award for the Technology & IT Services Sector for the Houston Region. Stough also holds a bachelors degree in mathematics and a masters degree in applied statistics from the University of California, Santa Barbara.
