Joseph J. Travia, Jr., formerly Senior Vice President of Operations, Eastern Region, was promoted to President of the Fertility Centers Division in 2007. He joined the company in 2000 as its Vice President and Executive Director of Reproductive Science Center in New England. From 1997 - 1999 Mr. Travia served as President and Chief Executive Officer of Capstan, LLC. From 1991 to 1996 he served as Senior Vice President of Operations of Apogee, Inc. From 1978 to 1990 he was with the Arthur D. Little, Inc. family of companies as President and CEO of its subsidiary Pilgrim Health Applications, Inc. for six years, Vice President and Treasurer of its subsidiary Delphi Associates, Inc. for four years and as a Senior Analyst for two years. Early in his career, Mr. Travia qualified as a certified public accountant and served as a tax consultant and senior auditor with Ernst & Young, an accounting firm. Mr. Travia earned a B.S. in Management from Boston College and an M.B.A. from Babson College. Since 2003, Mr. Travia has been Treasurer of the New England Fertility Society and in 2006, the membership elected him to the additional position of President.
