Dunn completed a two-year Interservice Physician Assistant Training Program in 2003 at the University of Nebraska and also received commission as a Second Lieutenant in the National Guard. Prior to that, Dunn received his Bachelor�s degree in Biology from the University of Southern Maine.
Professional Interest
Dunn is a licensed and certified Physician Assistant with diverse experience in civilian and military settings, including both general medical and emergency care. Prior to joining FMH, he provided physician assistant care at Health Span, an urgent care program of the Veterans Administration Medical Center at Togus, ME. Dunn is a member of the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants, the American Academy of Physician Assistants, and the Society of Army Physician Assistants. He has extensive community volunteer work implementing Red Cross blood drives.
Personal Interest
Joel Dunn grew up in the Lewiston/Auburn area. He and his wife Mary, and their 5 year old son Caleb, are relocating to Turner. |
